What's New?     

May is a busy time for many with graduations, last minute events for the schools, and vacation planning..  There is also a lot going on here at Georgetown Presbyterian Church.  Youth Sunday will be Sunday, May 27 during both services.  This is a time where the youth of GPC lead the services and they have been hard at work to make this very special.  There will also be a reception immediately following the May 27 11:00 service, held in the fellowship hall, to honor our graduates, confirmands, and new members.   

Summer is a time when many tend to slow down, the PW Circles will be taking June, July and August off; the PW Coordinating Team will not meet until the last Monday in August; the Hispanic Ministry is taking June, July and part of August off; PYF and CIA will not have regular meetings during the summer, and during the month of July there will be no Sunday School and only one service at 10:00AM. There is still a lot going on here at GPC: groups will be using the church to spend the night as they work outreach in the community, the Boy Scouts of America will be using some areas, and the Good Morning Camp will be held here again this summer.  The middle school youth will be taking a trip to Atlanta June 18-20, Vacation Bible School will held June 24-27, the youth will be attending Montreat Jul;y29-August 4, and many will be attending Camp Pee Dee at different times during the summer.

        We are a 550+ member church on the coast of South Carolina between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. We welcome all who wish to worship the triune God. We have a strong outreach ministry, a strong youth program, and a growing senior citizens program.  Come join us for worship!

Where we are located:
        We are in the heart of Georgetown, 40 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, 15 minutes south of Pawleys Island and 60 minutes north of Charleston.  Take highway 17 to Georgetown. Turn on Black River Rd. We are one block from the hospital.  Click here for a map.

8:45- 9:30 (informal)       

9:45- 10:45 Sunday school classes   

11:00- 12:00 (traditional with full choir)
